Yes, our heated mats will melt snow at a rate of approximately 2” per hour.

The best way to use the HeatTrak mats is to turn them on before the snow begins to fall. This way, there will not be any water accumulation when the snow melts, because the snowflakes will begin to evaporate as soon as they land on the mat. But if you can’t get to the mats until after the snow has fallen, that’s okay. You’ll just need to give it a few hours to melt the accumulation.
